- About Peter
60 Years of Real Experience
From a 15-year-old kitchen apprentice to one of Lancashire’s most experienced food safety professionals. This is Peter’s story.
A Life Shaped by Food
Peter’s Story
Peter started working at just 15 years old, stepping into a professional kitchen for the first time and discovering a passion that would shape the rest of his life. Over the next six decades, he built a career that most people can only dream of.
He rose from apprentice to head chef, running kitchens across Lancashire and beyond. He catered at Wembley, Royal Ascot, and other major national events — managing large teams under immense pressure and delivering exceptional results every time.
Peter then moved into education, becoming a college lecturer and NVQ assessor. He set up NVQ programmes in the workplace and trained hundreds of students — some of whom have gone on to work at Michelin-starred level. His experience spans restaurants, hotels, food manufacturing, and everything in between.
After a period of personal loss, Peter made the decision to channel everything he knows into Peters Pantry Limited — a business built on six decades of real experience, real results, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
